At Salut, we don’t like to shout too loud, but every now and then, something happens that makes us pause and say, “Hey, this actually made a difference.”

A Quiet (But Happy) Moment of Pride

One of those moments was the recognition of EVN Bulgaria at the Employer Branding Awards 2025, where their marketing campaign for their internship program “Youth with Future” grabbed second place in the Employer Branding Innovation category. Why does this matter to us? Because we had the joy of supporting a campaign that wasn’t about selling, but about personal development, career and mostly – about inspiring.

Influencer Marketing with a Twist

Influencer marketing doesn’t always have to be about beauty products, travel shots, or flashy unboxings. Sometimes, it’s about starting a conversation that matters.

In this case, it meant partnering with our well-known Damyan from haha.bg – not to promote a brand in the traditional sense, but to make young people stop scrolling and think: “Wait. Could this be my future?” And it was the future of hundreds of young professionals, who took the chance to apply for the Summer Internship Program of EVN Bulgaria in the area of energy. And here it is…

That’s the kind of impact we’re proud to create.
Not hype, but connection.

Employer Branding, but Make It Human

What made the campaign work wasn’t the production value or the script. It was the authenticity. Damyan wasn’t playing a role. He was raising real questions and showing what career development means.

That’s what resonates with Gen Z and young professionals: transparency, emotion, and relevance.

Innovation Isn’t Just Tech, It’s Tone

Innovation doesn’t always come from tools or platforms. Sometimes, it’s in the decision to talk differently. To avoid the corporate jargon. To meet people where they are – TikTok, YouTube, Instagram – and speak to them, not at them.

That’s where we see marketing heading: conversations and storytelling over raw advertising.

A “Thank You” to the Quiet Heroes

Awards are great. But the real success comes from the dozens of people behind the scenes – from the Marketing team that dared to try something new and the HR team that dared to accept it to the creative minds who believed that influencer marketing can be more than promo codes.

To everyone involved: you made something cool. Something smart. And something that will have ripple effects in the way companies approach employer branding from here on out.

What’s Next?

If you’re a company wondering whether influencer marketing can work for your HR strategy – the short answer is: yes, if it’s done with heart. Let’s stop selling and start showing purpose.

The long answer on the other hand starts with a simple…
